What if I can’t successfully register a passkey¹ and need to access my account?

Sometimes device settings, firewalls, or other technical issues may block passkey registration. Not to worry, you can log in to your account on mobile and web with a backup identity verification method.

Your security is important to us. We want to ensure it is you accessing your account.

If you have previously completed identity verification steps in passkey registration but are unable to successfully create a passkey, we’ll help you save time on a return login. Our systems recall your verification results and registered device.

Without a registered passkey, the login method below will repeat each time you access your account.

To log in:

  1. Enter your username on your registered device (mobile phone, computer, or tablet)

  2. Your matching phone number will be displayed

  3. Select a phone number to receive a one-time passcode (OTP) to be sent via SMS text or voice call

  4. Enter the OTP

  5. Log in to your account

  6. You’ll be prompted again to register a passkey, the safest way to protect your account, personal and health data. Passkey is also the fastest way to login with fingerprint, Face ID, or PIN.

What if my phone number isn’t a match and OTP is not successful?

You will have one more try to enter an alternate phone number and complete the one-time passcode process. If you are unable to verify your identity after several attempts, your account will be temporarily locked. Please contact us for assistance.
